What prospects see when they check you out

Most people who find you on Google look you up somewhere else before they call. They click your LinkedIn, your Facebook page, maybe your attorneys’ profiles, to see whether you look like a real, busy firm.

A last post from 2022, a profile with the old address, or an attorney LinkedIn with no photo all raise the same quiet question: is this firm still going? Social media for lawyers isn’t usually what brings someone to you. It’s what confirms they picked the right firm once they’ve found you.

What’s included

We set up your profiles, keep them correct and keep them posting, so you look active and established everywhere clients check you out.

  • Profiles set up and corrected. Your name, address and phone number (NAP) and your website link, the same on every profile.
  • Missing profiles claimed, so nobody else holds your firm’s name.
  • Branded cover images and post graphics that match your website.
  • Attorney LinkedIn profiles tuned so each attorney looks as established as the firm.
  • Your content turned into posts. Blog posts, FAQ answers and firm news become posts we publish for you, including posts on your Google Business Profile.
  • Evergreen posts recycled, so good content keeps working instead of disappearing after one day.
  • Profiles linked from your website, which helps Google and AI answers recognize your firm.
  • A monthly calendar you approve before anything goes out.
  • Posts written within your state’s advertising rules.
  • Tagged links in your monthly report, so you can see visits that came from your posts.

What’s not included

We’d rather be clear about the edges now than surprise you later.

Not includedWhat happens instead
Replying to comments or messagesWe flag them to you, so your firm answers anything that touches a legal matter
Paid social adsAvailable as part of our paid ads add-on, which covers Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
Video productionNot part of the service. We design graphics, not videos

How social media helps you get found too

Social media sits with Trust in our Find. Trust. Contact. framework, but it helps people find you as well.

Google Business Profile posts. The same posts go on your Google Business Profile, which keeps it active and gives searchers in Maps something current to read. That’s part of our local SEO and Google Business Profile work.

AI recognition. ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews and Perplexity try to work out which firm is which. Complete profiles with the same name, address, phone and website, linked from your site, help them connect the dots and treat your firm as one clear entity. That supports our AI search visibility work. No one can guarantee a mention in an AI answer, but consistent profiles are part of the groundwork.

How it works for law firms

Posting for a law firm isn’t the same as posting for a coffee shop. In most states, a firm’s social media counts as attorney advertising, and confidentiality applies online too.

  • No promised outcomes

We don’t post anything that reads as a guarantee or hints at results a new client should expect.

  • No client stories without consent

We don’t share client details, photos or case outcomes unless your firm has written consent and your state allows it.

  • The right tone for your practice

A personal injury firm can post safety reminders around holidays. A family law firm needs a gentler, more private voice. An estate planning firm can explain the difference between a will and a trust.

  • You keep the final say

You approve the calendar, and anything sensitive waits for your OK.

Straight talk about organic social

We won’t promise cases from organic social media. Its job is to make your firm look active, established and easy to trust, and to help Google and AI answers recognize you.

If you want calls from Facebook and Instagram this month, that’s paid advertising, and it’s a separate add-on with its own tracking and budget. See Meta ads for lawyers.

How we report on it

Your monthly report lists what we posted and where, with tagged links so you can see the visits your posts sent to your website. Then our founder walks you through the report on a call, alongside your calls, leads, rankings, reviews and AI visibility.

I have worked with PointClick for years. They designed my website and currently handle my firm’s seo and other online marketing needs. They are very responsive whenever I have questions or specific requests. I would recommend their services to any law firm in need of web design or internet marketing help.

Part of the Client System

Social media is included in the PointClick Client System, run by the same team as your website, SEO, reviews and Google Business Profile. That’s what makes it work: the posts come from your content, the profiles match your listings, and everything links back to your site.

The PointClick Client System starts at $2,500/month. More practice areas, locations or content cost more. See every price on our pricing page.

Questions firms ask

Do I have to write or post anything myself?

No. We turn your blog posts, FAQ answers and firm news into posts, design the graphics and publish them for you. Your part is approving the monthly calendar, which takes a few minutes. If you have news we don't know about, like a new hire or a community event, send us a line and we'll turn it into a post.

Which social media platforms do you cover?

The ones prospects check: LinkedIn (your firm's page and your attorneys' profiles), Facebook, X and your Google Business Profile, plus others where your clients are. We set up or correct each profile, claim any that are missing, and keep them consistent with your website and listings.

Will social media bring in new cases?

Sometimes, but that's not what we promise. Organic social media is mostly about trust: prospects who find you on Google check your profiles before they call, and an active, professional presence helps them pick you. It also helps Google and AI answers recognize your firm. If you want leads from Facebook and Instagram this month, that's paid Meta ads.

Do you reply to comments and messages?

No. Replies to comments and direct messages can touch on someone's legal situation, so they belong with your firm. We watch for them and flag them to you so nothing gets missed. Paid social ads and video production aren't included either.

Can social media posts break attorney advertising rules?

They can, because in most states a firm's social posts count as attorney advertising. We write every post within your state's advertising rules: no promised outcomes, no client details without written consent, and care with words like "specialist". You see and approve the calendar before anything goes out, so you keep the final say.
