Local organizations count too. A current profile with the Orange County Bar Association (which runs a lawyer referral service), the Seminole County Bar Association or The Florida Bar is a trusted local listing that points to your firm. We check which ones you have, and which ones are missing or out of date.
Law firm SEO and marketing in Orlando
The Orlando metro has nearly 2,000 law offices, from downtown to Kissimmee, Sanford and Winter Park. Most people looking for a lawyer here start with a search on their phone and call one of the first firms they see. We help Orlando-area firms show up in Google Maps, search results and AI answers, then turn those searches into signed clients.

A mid-sized market with real competition
Orlando is a mid-sized legal market, but not a quiet one. The metro covers four counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Lake. Here’s what U.S. Census Bureau data for the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford metro (County Business Patterns 2023 for legal services, American Community Survey 2020–2024) means for your marketing:
| Measure | Orlando metro | What it means for your firm |
|---|---|---|
| Law offices | 1,968 | Most practice areas have dozens of firms competing for the same searches |
| Offices with 5 or more staff | 593, about three in ten | A large share of competitors with real marketing budgets |
| Median household income | $78,533, about 3% below the US median | Clients compare before they call, so a clear page and a fast reply count |
| Population | 2.79 million | Enough demand for specialist firms, not only generalists |
What Orlando search results look like
We ran common searches from an Orlando location in November 2026, mostly on desktop, including “divorce lawyer orlando”, “immigration lawyer orlando”, “dui lawyer orlando” and “criminal defense attorney orlando”. Four things stood out:
The map comes first
Google’s three-firm map led the page for every practice-area search we checked on desktop and mobile, with one exception: “workers comp lawyer orlando” showed no map at all. That makes your Google Business Profile and local SEO the first job.
AI answers appear on fewer searches
Google’s AI Overview opened the page for “workers comp lawyer orlando”, citing Justia and YouTube among its sources, and appeared under the map for “estate planning attorney orlando”. Most other searches had none. We track whether your firm is named in those answers, and in ChatGPT, through our AI search work.
Directories and forums take top spots
Justia was the first organic result for “criminal defense attorney orlando” and for “dui lawyer orlando” on mobile, and a Reddit thread came first for the same DUI search on desktop. Super Lawyers was second for both divorce and immigration. A complete, consistent profile on each directory is part of being found.
Demand is real, but specific
Google estimates about 2,900 searches a month for “divorce lawyer orlando”, 2,400 for “immigration lawyer orlando” and 1,600 for “family lawyer orlando”, plus longer phrases and searches for nearby towns. That’s why we build pages for the cases you want, not one page for “lawyer Orlando”.
Pages built for how Orlando clients search
People here rarely search for “a lawyer”. They search for a case type, a town or a question about Florida law. We plan your law firm SEO around those searches, one page each:
- Case type plus city: “divorce lawyer orlando”, “dui lawyer orlando”. Clear intent, and fewer competitors than the broad terms.
- Towns and counties: “family lawyer kissimmee”, “estate planning attorney winter park”, “divorce lawyer sanford”. Clients often want a firm near the courthouse they’ll be in.
- Florida law questions: “can I get compensation if the accident was partly my fault in Florida”. Florida cuts an award by the injured person’s share of fault, and since 2023 bars recovery entirely for anyone found more than 50% at fault for their own harm in most negligence cases (Florida Statutes § 768.81). Injury clients ask about it before they call.
- Spanish-language searches: Google estimates about 210 searches a month for “abogado de inmigracion orlando”. A translated page rarely ranks; a page written for the words people actually search can.
- Your attorneys: each lawyer’s name plus “lawyer”, which is what people check right before they call.

Local courts and bar groups, used properly
Orlando-area firms work across the Ninth Judicial Circuit for Orange and Osceola counties, the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, which covers Seminole County, the Fifth Judicial Circuit, which includes Lake County, and the Orlando Division of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Those names belong on your practice pages where they’re relevant, because they’re what clients and AI answers connect with a local firm.
Florida’s advertising rules, built in
The Rules Regulating The Florida Bar cover lawyer advertising in detail, and some of them catch firms out online:
Twenty days before, three years after
Rule 4-7.19 asks you to file most ads with The Florida Bar at least 20 days before they first run, and to keep a copy for three years after the last use, with a record of when and where it ran.
Your office, stated honestly
Rule 4-7.12 asks every ad to name at least one lawyer or the firm, plus the city, town or county of a bona fide office. Its comment allows “by appointment” or “satellite” wording for other locations only when that’s true.
“Board certified” means certified
Rule 4-7.14 allows the term only for a lawyer actually certified, for example under the Florida Certification Plan, and the ad has to name the area and the certifying organization. A firm itself can’t be called certified.
The 30-day rule
Rule 4-7.18 bars a lawyer from sending a written communication to an accident victim or their relative about the accident until it’s more than 30 days old.
We write your pages, ads and Google Business Profile posts within these rules and flag anything that needs your sign-off. You still have the final say on what your firm advertises, but you shouldn’t have to catch rule problems yourself.

Questions firms ask
Do you have an office in Orlando?
No. PointClick is a California-based company and our team works remotely, so we meet Orlando clients on Zoom or by phone. Your marketing is about your office and your market, not ours: we plan around your address, your courts and the competitors your clients actually see.
Do you work with firms in Kissimmee, Sanford, Winter Park and the rest of the metro?
Yes. We work with firms anywhere in the Orlando area, including Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County and Lake County, from Altamonte Springs to Clermont. If you have more than one office, each one gets its own Google Business Profile and its own location page on your website.
Can you get my downtown Orlando firm into the map results in Kissimmee or Sanford?
Sometimes, but distance matters. Google weighs how close a firm is to the person searching, so your profile is strongest near your office. Further out, reviews, a strong profile and good pages for those areas widen your reach. We don't create virtual offices to cover more towns: Google suspends profiles for that, and it puts your firm at risk.
How much does law firm marketing in Orlando cost with PointClick?
The PointClick Client System starts at $2,500/month. Firms in competitive practice areas, like personal injury and criminal defense, often need more content and link building, so they may invest more. Paid ads are an add-on at $1,500/month plus the ad spend you pay Google and Meta directly. We quote a firm number after the free Growth Audit.
How long before SEO brings in cases?
Some fixes help within weeks, like a Google Business Profile that's finally complete or a form that actually reaches you. Rankings for competitive Orlando searches take months. We recommend at least three months for SEO, and if you need calls sooner, Google Ads and Local Services Ads can bring them in while rankings build.
